HURTUnder Dictionary.Com- the meaning is "to cause mental pain to; offend or grieve"
Sometimes, a person's way of talking can hurt a person deeply be it intentionally or not.
This kind of hurt could not be easily solved by an apology as the person will always rmb it.

i am slowly begining to grow up
BUT some tings will always remain the same.
Ppl say "Let it be" and "ignore them" is a part of growing up.
BUT it is NOT so.
As the person will always regret not doing anything to protect herself against those hurtful comments.
